Spa Time Anyone?

Spa Time Anyone?

Face masks and pore strips to unclog your pores and eye mask because who wants dark circles? I personally don’t but since I stay up late most of the days I can’t really prevent them. They just sort of happen; one day you have none then the next you do.

I have really oily skin so I am always applying facemasks not just to control my oils but also to unclog my pores. I know I’m not the only one who loves to just apply a clay mask and pretend I’m at a spa; right?

Usually, I like to apply my mud mask at the end of the week, which on my schedule would be a Thursday (Thursday because I only go to school 4x a week). A peel-off mask on Monday; to start off the week fresh. A pore strip just when my pores are really clogged or just usually every 2 weeks.  Lets’ not forget about the eye mask! These I use any time I look really tired or on one of those days that I didn’t get much sleep.

Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-clarifying mud mask $5.99

What it claims
“Pores be pure skin-clarifying mask by formula 10.0.6 is a skin-refining mask with berry boosters goes straight to work on clogged pores. Strawberry and Rosemary eliminate impurities, while yarrow clarifies skin for instant complexion perfection.” – Ulta website under details

What I think?

I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and I do think it helps clarify the skin but it takes a while. It’s not going to happen out of the blue one day!  The smell is amazing at least to me because I like the smell of rosemary.
Something that bothers me a little is that it tingles a little too much for my taste. It says you can use it at least 1-3 times week but I think I will stick with 1 maybe two times.

If you are looking for something inexpensive to add to your beauty regimen this is a mask to really look into. Plus isn’t the packaging just adorable?

What I think?

Honestly, this mask is truly one of the best peel off masks ever. I have tried others even from this line and those made my skin look and feel terrible. For instance I would break out or my face would start to literally peel. I think this one was the jackpot one of them all (well the ones that I tried).

Smell wise I think its okay… nothing too special about it. I mean I like pomegranate but it is a strong scent. I love how it makes my skin feel after I peel this mask off.

Another every inexpensive product and you get your $$ worth.

What I think?
Hello amazing! Love these for when my pores feel clogged. Amazing at removing the entire gunk on your face while not breaking me out!
But here’s the catch if you use them more than the recommended times per week your skin isn’t going to be happy. Since pore strips can harm your skin you need to be careful. (Please read the precautions under the how to use tab on the ulta website!)
The fun/gross part of using this product is when you actually peel it off and see all the white heads/ black head on the strip.

Nose Strip Ingredients: Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Water, Glycerin, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Methylparaben.
Face Strip Ingredients: Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Water, Glycerin, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben.
