One Heck of a Blot
One of the most
coveted brands from the UK is finally available in the states exclusively in:
Ulta, Target and Walgreens. I have read countless blog post about Soap andGlory products leading up to this from different bloggers. The cute pink shade
in all their packaging and the affordable product
with amazing formulation.
with amazing formulation.
If I’m being
honest here, I was more intrigued with the packaging because it’s my favorite
color and it looks cute.
Now to the product:
I had seen some
YT videos of this product and as a person with oily skin I was very excited to put
it to the test. After a couple of weeks I notice that it did minimize the
oiliness on my skin but nothing over the top. It didn’t stop my oiliness for
coming through like I had hoped it did.
I would say a
good 4 hours before you can start seeing the oil again. Even if it was only 4
hours, that is still okay. I mean normally I put my makeup on and within
minutes of me finishing I can already start to see some coming through.
Would I repurchase this?
No, I mean it’s a
great primer but it doesn’t live up to the 12 hours of mattifying power it is
supposed to have. Even if the packaging is cute I just can’t see myself paying
for this product again. However, it does minimize the size of your pores but
nothing extremely crazy or anything like that.
Also I find it
has no scent what so ever.
Retail price:
$14
