#blogtober: Hair Care

What I use on my hair

When it comes to hair products I am extremely minimal with it. I tend to not have enough time in the morning to do my hair so I prep my hair at night.
Sometimes I’ll braid my hair at night and wakeup with waves in my hair. I will also use a headband or hair rolls so I don’t have to worry about my hair in the morning.
I am all about fast and easy when it comes to hair. When I was younger I would always use heat on my hair, which would damage it. I’m talking split ends, dry and frizzy hair. Not some of my best memories.

Here is what I do so my hair looks decent in the mornings…

Shampoo + Conditioner: Herbal Essences Color Me Happy
I will wash my hair every 2 days unless I have worked out and I was really sweaty then I’ll wash my hair that day too. Washing your hair everyday can cause more damage to it as I try and limit my washes.

Deep Conditioner: Aussie 3-minute Moisture; Garnier Fructis Damage eraser
I deep condition my hair once ever week. Usually, on a Saturday or Sunday depending which day I have preset.

Dry Shampoo: Herbal Essences Color Me Happy
When I don’t wash my hair this literally saves me. Sometimes I will spray on my curls to give a bit of volume.

Hair oil: Garnier Fructis Sleek + Shine
After a shower I will put this on my hair but concentrating on the lower part of my hair.

Texturizing: Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves; Not your Mother Sea Salt Spray
I use this when I have curly hair to enhance the waves or when I want something messy, which ends up being everyday.

Hair Ties: Goody Slide Proof Elastics
I love hair ties that don’t pull my hair. These are some of the best ones I’ve tried.

Headband: Scunci Solid Headbands
I use these headbands when I want my hair to be curly in the morning. It doesn’t leave creases, which I really like (post on heatless curls coming).

Foam Hair Rollers: Conair Flexible Rollers
These foam rollers are the best. I can’t even feel them when I’m sleeping because they are super soft.

These are some of the things that I use on my hair so it looks and feels good.

What do you use on your hair? Do we use any of the same products?

Thank you for reading dolls, until next time
xoxo Maria
